To Do:

The To Do List: Week of February 6, 2025

Hey! Come share some love with the community at Eastern Market!

February is the heart of winter and it comes along to remind us that, no matter how adverse circumstances may be, love and kindness sustain us and keep us going. Love is all around if you look for it. Keep being strong, friends. What is there to do?

(Need help? Not sure where to turn? Here are a few DC resources for you. Please know that you are loved and you matter.)

Want to share some love with your community and with the ACLU? I’ll be at Eastern Market’s North Hall on Saturday, February 8 and 15. Donate $5 (or more, if you’re so inclined or able) and we will donate the proceeds (minus overhead costs) to the ACLU. Write a Valentine to someone or send a message of love to our community, which has seen us through some dark times and continues to be there for us. More info also on our Instagram.

Tomorrow the tweens ride their bikes to skate! It’s another awesome Hill Family Biking ride, aimed at the older set: the start time is 6:30 p.m. at the Maury Elementary parking lot. More info and RSVP here.

It’s Second Saturday at Capitol Hill Books! Wine and cheese from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and a 10% discount on your purchases until closing at 8 p.m.

Want to sign up to rate this year’s Super Bowl commercials? Go here!

The team with the most cans wins, but we all win, as your generous donation and wager will help keep the Lutheran Church of the Reformation food pantry full. An ecumenical bet? Charming!
