Why are you running for ANC?
I aim to represent the interests of Navy Yard residents, ensuring their voices are heard on issues such as public safety, transportation/parking,development, community resources, events, youth programs, community relations, housing, etc.
Why do you believe ANC is an important office?
ANCs provide a direct line of communication between residents and the city government, ensuring that local voices are heard on issues that matter most to the community. They also advocate for the allocation of resources to meet the specific needs of their communities, ensuring that local priorities are addressed. My first top priority is to address the public safety concerns and work with law enforcement and city agencies to enhance community services, contributing to a safer and more vibrant neighborhood in 6/8F02 and all across Navy Yard working with other elected commissioners in the area.

My neighbors should vote for me because I am committed to representing our community’s interests. I prioritize the needs and concerns of neighbors, aiming to create solutions that enhance our quality of life. I have a track record of community involvement and in public safety and a deep understanding of the issues facing our neighborhood. I’m dedicated to fostering open communication and collaboration among residents.I have a clear vision for our neighborhood that balances growth with tensuring a vibrant and inclusive community for all. Keeping an eye on ANCs is important for several reasons: ANCs address local public safety concerns and work to improve community services. Keeping track of their initiatives can inform residents about resources available to them. ANCs also play a role in how resources are allocated within the community and it is important to monitor their activities ensures that funds and services are directed to areas of greatest need.Regular oversight of ANCs promotes transparency and accountability. Finally, by being aware of ANC activities, residents can engage with their neighbors and foster a sense of community, leading to stronger collaboration on local initiatives.
