The Great Ward 6 Clean happens tomorrow, April 1, all across Ward 6. Starting at 10 a.m., join your neighbors at several locations. We will join Councilmember Charles Allen’s office at Eastern Market Metro Plaza, but you can be part of cleanups at the following locations:

Troop 500 will be holding a special pancake breakfast tomorrow morning, April 1, 8-11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation. This pancake breakfast is a fundraiser for the scouts, so bring your appetite. More info is available at this Facebook event link.
The Capital Art Book Fair is happening at Eastern Market on Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 pm on Saturday and noon to 4 pm on Sunday. Ahead of the book fair, why not catch a special exhibitor panel discussion at CHAW, from 11 am to noon. More info here.
Bloomaroo at the Wharf has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 2 from 2-9 p.m. The Wharf-wide festival celebrates the lovely season with kites, special cocktails, a haiku creation station and more. Find out more here.

The Hill Center has wonderful programs every day of the week. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to draw, or practice in a nurturing space, why not give Basic Drawing Techniques a chance? The class meets Tuesdays, starting April 4 and going through the 25. Sign up here.
Feeling like leaving the Hill a little? The drop by the MLK, Jr. branch of the DC Public library and visit We Who Believe in Freedom: Black Feminists in DC.
