- Armed Robbery December 4, 2022
The First District is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Ave, SE on December 4, 2022. Suspect 1 was armed with a long gun rifle. Both Suspect 1 and Suspect 2 were described as black males wearing ski masks approximately 5’7”-5’8” in height. The suspects fled in and unknown white vehicle.

The First District is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the 800 block of Maryland Ave, NE on December 4, 2022. The suspects were operating a white Kia Optima. 2 suspects were described as teenage black males, slim build, wearing dark clothing, armed with handguns. 2 additional suspects remained in the vehicle (unknown description).
- FBI Special Agent Involved Shooting: G Street and 11th Street, Northwest
Agents from the Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Force Investigations Team are investigating a fatal FBI agent-involved shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, inside of the Metro Center Station, at G Street and 11th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 6:21 pm, an off-duty FBI agent and the suspect were involved in a physical altercation inside of Metro Center Station. The suspect pushed the FBI agent backwards over a railing on the platform. The suspect also went over the railing and they both landed approximately eight feet below the train platform. After the fall, the FBI agent discharged their firearm and struck the suspect. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene to provide medical aid to the suspect but found no signs consistent with life. The FBI agent was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Recovered from the suspect was a handgun. The suspect was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Troy Bullock of Southeast, DC.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announce an arrest has been made in an Assault with Intent to Kill offense that occurred on Friday, December 9, 2022, in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue, Northeast
At approximately 5:08 am, members of the First District responded to the listed location for an investigate the trouble call for service. Upon arrival, members located an adult female victim inside of a residence, unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from multiple blunt force injuries. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Detectives’ investigation determined that this offense was domestic in nature.
On Friday, December 9, 2022, 32-year-old Nicholas Samuel Batts, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill.
