  • Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 600 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.

At approximately 3:13 pm, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos and this video.

  • Suspect Sought in an Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishment Offense: 600 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishment offense that occurred on Friday, October 21, 2022, in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast
At approximately 9:21 pm, the suspect approached an employee at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the register. The employee complied. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos above.

  • Arrest Made in Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Theft One (Stolen Auto) Offenses

The Metropolitan Police Department announces arrests in recent Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Theft One (Stolen Auto) offenses in Washington, DC.

Thursday, October 20, 2022: A 15-year-old juvenile male, and a 14-year-old juvenile male, both of Southeast, DC, and a 13-year-old juvenile male, of no fixed address, were arrested for an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle offense that occurred at 11th and M Streets, Southeast.

  • Arrest Made in a Homicide: 800 Block of 21st Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announce an arrest has been made in a homicide that occurred on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the 800 block of 21st Street, Northeast.
At approximately 5:31 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim, inside of a residence, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and after finding no signs consistent with life, the victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The decedent has been identified as 28-year-old Eric King, of Northeast, DC.

  • Suspects Sought in a Robbery (Force and Violence) Offense: 300 Block of 10th Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects in a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Sunday, October 16, 2022, in the 300 block of 10th Street, Northeast.
At approximately 11:46 pm, the suspects exited a vehicle and approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene.

  • Suspects Sought in an Armed Robbery (Gun) Offense: 400 Block of 16th Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Carjacking Task Force seek the public’s assistance in locating suspects in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in the 400 block of 16th Street, Southeast.
At approximately 10:20 pm, the suspects, who were in a vehicle, approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle. The suspect vehicle was later located.
