Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 3:15 pm, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos above.
- Carjacking Investigation
The First District is investigating a carjacking that occurred in the 900 block of Constitution Ave, NE on October 5,2022. Taken was a Gray Volkswagen Jetta with PA Tags JSM1488 being operated by (2) black males wearing dark clothing, approximately 5’7”-5’10”, wearing black masks, and approximately 15 years old.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, October 3, 2022, in the 1300 block of Half Street, Southwest.
At approximately 5:00 pm, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a Burglary Two of an Establishment offense that occurred on Friday, September 30, 2022, in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 4:36 am, the suspect gained entry into an establishment at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene.
