Capitol Riverside Youth Sports Park (CRYSP) will manage the fields at RFK. CRYSP is comprised of Sports on the Hill, Capital Football Club, Capitol Hill Little League and 10 other youth sports leagues around town. Does this mean no more soccer practice at the Marine Barracks annex? Because I’m all for that. (No offense, Marines, but it’s always a little intimidating to go on base.) PR Newswire

WUSA-9 took a hard look at the rising suicide rates among veterinarians. They interviewed Atlas Vet’s Dr. Chris Miller and he spoke about how tough it is to be around death and dying on a daily basis, as well as about his mentor, colleague and friend Dr. Keith De La Cruz. Dr. De La Cruz took his own life in July of 2015.

If you’re active on Twitter, you may know about Unsuck DC Metro. Over the weekend, the account shared a tweet shaming a Metro employee eating her breakfast aboard a train car. (There is no eating or drinking on Metro.) The fighting and accusations that ensued went way past complaining about food and got ugly. Washingtonian’s Andrew Beaujon has a great summary, in case you didn’t feel like scrolling through a few thousand tweets yourself.
And just in case you were wondering, the Metro employee will not be reprimanded. The Hill.
