I know it feels like it is too hot to ever leave your house again, but the weather report says that this weekend will be pretty much perfect, with a high of 80 and sunny. That means: Get out there! And this Saturday, from 10 to 2, there is an especially good reason to take a walk: about a dozen locals will setting up a lemonade stand to raise money for their favorite Ward 6 charity. As an extra incentive, Charles Allen and his staff will visit them in the course of the day, and there will be prizes for the best decorated stands.
Registration for setting up your own stand is closed, but you will still be able to view the stands, and of course buy delicious lemonade. And help your neighbors raise funds. The map is above, but you can get the proper version at this link.
