Martha Brooks was assaulted by her daughter’s paramour back in 1893. Fortunately, her extremely hard skull protected her from her husband’s fate. They are buried together just to the right of the marker behind Mrs. Brooks. (RSP)
A new addition to this year’s stroll is a beer garden, based on the many German-run locales across the Hill. (RSP)
TV station WUSA 9 sent along a camera crew on the first night, here they are catching the action at the beer garden. (RSP)

Soul Strolls is sold out for this year, but look for next year’s edition and come along! (RSP)
