Pilgrims Musa and Sheri in the New World begins running at the Atlas this weekend.

Happy weekend, everyone! It might be a long one for some, especially those lucky DCPS kids who get a four-day break.

Regardless of your particular situation, you will need to fill whatever free time you may have with something so why not this?

Tonight, our Madame Meow is back at Wisdom reading tarot. For those astrology fans she also does charts! Guests can choose from a short reading ($10/7 mins) or a long reading ($20/15 mins). Madame Meow will be doing readings from 7:00-9:00 PM and payment can be made with cash or Venmo.

Friday night at the Folger, director Aaron Posner discusses his 70s take on The Merry Wives Windsor currently running in the Elizabethan theatre. A reception with light fare is included with $20 ticket and the 6:30 p.m. start time will leave you plenty of time to make it to that evening’s performance.

Saturday, learn the art and skill of oyster shucking at the Salt Line’s Shuck Like a Pro. For $65 you will learn the ins and outs of bivalve dissection while enjoying drinks and snacks AND take home your very own knife. There are a few sessions scheduled this weekend and next so check it out here.

Sunday, Mosaic Theater presents Pilgrims Musa and Sherri in the New World at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. Playwright
Yussef El Guindi spins a rom-com with about an Egyptian immigrant and a waitress who spend a night together and make their way through the wild world of cultural assumptions. Tickets are $20-$65 and the show runs through February 16th.
