Hey, live music fans! We’ve made it to the end of the year and I hope you’ve gotten to see many incredible acts. Here are a few ideas to close out the year:
Wednesday, December 18: This and every Wednesday is Capitol Hill Jazz Jam at Mr. Henry’s. From 8-11 p.m. enjoy some of the finest jazz around and expect the unexpected, literally: You never know when a conga line of musicians might break out. More info.
Friday, December 20: Get into the Christmas spirit with Funky Miracle‘s A Funky Christmas Miracle. The performance is free, but you should RSVP and expect to share your table with friendly strangers. Do it. It’ll be fun! RSVP. Listen.
Make it a Friday SkaDay with The Captivators at Rock and Roll Hotel. Give the listen link a click and slide gently into the 1990s, when chunky platforms and butterfly clips were queens and ska swirled about. Ah, memories. Listen. Tickets.
