When you’re in the mood to celebrate, to commiserate, or simply not to cook, your friendly neighborhood dining establishments are there to support you and pamper you. It’s time to give back to the places who do so much for your mood and well-being! Starting today, Wednesday, December 19, and culminating at midnight on January 31, 2019, you can go to the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s (RAMW) RAMMYs website and nominate your favorite member restaurants in twenty categories. Among these categories are
Nominated by industry peers and the general public, the winners are selected by a panel of journalists and restaurant industry insiders, as well as the popular vote –by those of us with a stomach (and discerning taste, and an internet connection). Some awards, like the Favorite Gathering Place of the Year award or the Casual Brunch of the Year award are decided by the voting public only. Not sure if the restaurant you want to nominate is a member of RAMW? You can check their membership right here: RAMW Membership. In order to move to the finals, nominated restaurants must be part of the association. The finalists will be announced in March of 2019.
