The act of terrorism perpetrated upon the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh last Saturday, October 29, left most of us deeply shaken and feeling hurt. THIH reader Laurie Sussman, who is from Pittsburgh and Jewish, and whose family lives close to the Tree of Life synagogue, wanted to do something truly healing for her community. She worked with Be Here Now Yoga, in their new space at 406 8th Street SE, to bring a special healing yoga class to the Capitol Hill neighbors this Saturday, November 3. The class will be taught by instructor Danny Coates-Finke, is welcome to all levels of practice and goes from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. A restorative community yoga class may be what we need to nurture our bodies and spirits after tragedy.

From the class description on the Be Here Now Yoga website:
