Are you looking for a family friendly pool but don’t want to spend years on a waiting list?

The Fort Washington Pool has no waiting list, is accepting new members for 2018, and is holding open house hours on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3. Members enjoy a family friendly atmosphere, waterfront access for boating and paddle sports, swim instruction, and so much more.

The Fort Washington Pool is home to the Fort Washington Sharks swim team. The Sharks compete in the Prince-Mont Swim League and the team welcomes young swimmers between the ages of 5-18. There is also a guppy program for beginning swimmers ages 0-5. Summer afternoons and evenings at the Fort Washington Pool will be just the escape from the grind that you are looking for: A true community atmosphere, riverfront views from the pool deck, and fishing and kayak access make you feel like you’re at a rural campground. Spend your weekend mornings at Eastern Market and bring your picnic lunch to the pool!

As a member of the Fort Washington Pool, you are welcome to the following amenities:

  • access to the 6-lane junior Olympic size pool
  • 1-foot deep wading pool for small children
  • waterfront grill and picnic area
  • snack bar
  • ability to bring your own food from off-site
  • boat, kayak and canoe storage
  • fishing dock and waterfront access

This year, there are new rates for individuals and 2-member households. Members also can become Fort Washington Pool Association shareholders. The Pool is member-owned and operated by a volunteer board of directors.

Open House
We welcome you to come visit our pool on both June 2 and June 3, 2018, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. You are welcome to swim, learn more about our pool, beachfront, and swim team, and enjoy some hot dogs and snacks.

Location
The Fort Washington Pool is nestled near the Fort Washington Marina.
