Get your tickets today for one of the most neighborly social fundraisers on the Hill: A Literary Feast!
This year’s event will be held October 21st, but tickets are on sale now and registration closes September 30th, or when tickets sell out –and they ALWAYS sell out! There are over thirty-nine literary-themed dinners to choose from.
The Literary Feast is a series of dinner parties held at homes across Capitol Hill all on one evening. Each dinner features food and fun related to a specific book. It is a party, though, not a book discussion, so come prepared to dine in fine, festive literary fashion. Break out your white linen suits for Our Man in Havana, or your best deep-sea gear for The Old Man and the Sea.
Proceeds support the Capitol Hill Community Foundation’s Grants to Neighborhood Schools. In 2016, grants totaling more than $140,000 were given to fund special projects and programs for our school children.
