For The Young Set: Walking Tour of Capitol Hill!

Illustration via District Architecture Center

If you have a young person in your life who knows the difference between a Wardman, a Federal and an Italianate, or perhaps just a budding artist who loves sketching the historic houses around our neighborhood, DACKids has the tour for you!

Kicking off April, Architecture Month (who knew?), the District Architecture Center is offering a series of wonderful tours on the local architecture. Among them, the Capitol Hill Architecture Tour for kids should be of interest to Hill kids and parents alike. We’ve all seen the beautiful buildings that surround us, but have we really *seen* them? This is your chance.

The tour starts off and ends at the Southeast Neighborhood Library’s meeting hall, 403 7th Street SE, on April 1, 2017. If you would like to learn more or purchase tickets, follow this link: http://www.aiadc.com/event/dackids-neighborhood-walking-tour-capitol-hill
