If you weren’t lucky enough to grab tickets to sold-out shows like Tove Lo, Passenger, The Flaming Lips, or The Griswolds in these upcoming weeks, The Set List has you covered with plenty of other shows that will be well worth your time.

On The Hill:

Dorothy has built up momentum like no other with their music that is bursting with influence from rock, blues, and punk artists. This 4-piece, female-fronted band has been featured on Rolling Stone’s list of artists you need to know and been signed to Jay-Z’s record label. With hard-hitting blues-rock songs like “Raise Hell,” it’s hard to see why not. Dorothy will be at the Rock & Roll Hotel on February 28, and it is a show that you won’t want to miss. Get your tickets here.

If something a little more on the pop-punk side is more your thing, You Blew It! has just the show for you. This quintet just released their most recent album, Abendrot, in November and will be playing the Rock & Roll Hotel on March 3. You Blew It! combines 90s emo with indie rock in a way that few bands can accomplish. If you are a fan of bands such as Into It. Over It., Taking Back Sunday, The Get Up Kids, or Motion City Soundtrack, you will definitely enjoy this show. You can pick up your tickets here.

Around DC:

If you’re looking for a change of venue, check out Gypsy Sally’s on February 25 where you can catch Jared & The Mill. This Arizona-based indie rock band is known for their fresh sound and has built up a strong fan base over the years while touring with powerhouses such as the Zac Brown Band and The Killers. These guys showcase a wide variety of influences in their music, so there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. Their newest album, Orme Dugas, is just one of many successful releases. Keep in mind that this show is for those 21 and over. Get your tickets here.

After touring the world in support of their sophomore album Celebration Rock, a break was in order for Japandroids. After three years off, they are back and ready to take the music scene by storm once again with their brand new third album, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life. This Vancouver-based duo has found their place in the music scene with their anthemic, poetic and punk influenced rock. Japandroids will be playing the 9:30 Club on February 28. Their first show sold out, so get your tickets before they are gone!

At first glance, Mako may seem like your typical electronic duo, but since the release of Hourglass late last year, they have proven that they are much more than that. They have moved into pop and indie rock, all while keeping up their momentum in the EDM world, as well as the incredible vocals. With millions of online views, collaborations with huge artists, and massive gigs including spots at Coachella and Lollapalooza, it is safe to say that Mako has made their mark. Don’t miss your chance to see them on March 2 at U Street Music Hall. Get your tickets here.

Since taking over the airwaves on radio stations around the country with their hit “You & I,” Colony House has released their newest album, Only The Lonely, and has embarked on their first headlining US tour. This four-piece indie rock/pop band hit the scene with their debut album a few years ago. This propelled them into the spotlight and on stages with artists such as Needtobreathe and Switchfoot. I can attest that their music is addicting, catchy, and just all around fun; I am definitely hooked. Colony House will be performing at U Street Music Hall on March 4, so get your tickets now.
