Touring season is back in full swing: There are so many amazing shows in the area in the next couple weeks! Here is just a little taste of what you can find on the Hill and around DC.

On The Hill:

Rock & Roll Hotel has an incredible night of music lined up for you on Saturday, January 28. R&RH will showcase DC’s own Handsome Hound, as well as DC-based Humble Fire and Philadelphia’s Josh Miller. Handsome Hound is a folk rock band that has gained popularity in the area for their energy, prominent lyrics, and a one-of-a-kind blend of multiple styles. Humble Fire, a rising art rock quartet, and Miller’s seemingly effortless flow of different genres will round out this night and make for an unforgettable show you won’t want to miss. LÉON, an up and coming Swedish-born star, has been surrounded by music all her life and has been performing since the age of 17. Since the release of her debut EP in 2015, LÉON has captured the attention of listeners around the world; her single, “Tired of Talking,” has over 50 million streams and she has been recognized as an artist to watch by companies such as Spotify and Vevo. LÉON will bring her incredible vocals and unique take on indie pop to Rock & Roll Hotel on February 3. Get your tickets here.

Every Time I Die is ready to put the “rock” in the Rock & Roll Hotel. Since their formation in 1998, this New York-based metalcore band has built up a massive fan base through their intense and energetic live shows. ETID will be kicking off their North American tour on the east coast in support of their newest album, “Low Teens.” You have the chance to experience this show on February 7, so get your tickets now!

Around DC:

Bronze Radio Return brings back American roots rock with indie flair in their newest album, “Up, On & Over.” BRR has steadily expanded their fan base since gaining exposure through national and worldwide ads with companies such as Nissan, Home Depot, and ESPN with their single “Shake! Shake! Shake!” BRR has won over audiences with their soulful, warm, and energetic songs and live shows. Bronze Radio Return will headline The Hamilton on January 26. Get your tickets here.

Moody, electronic, and indie are not genres that would normally come out of country-driven Tennessee, but BASECAMP is one of the bands that are bringing the nascent Nashville electronic music scene to life. BASECAMP shatters musical boundaries with their heavy percussion and haunting melodies. They have toured with bands such as CVRCHES and Phantogram, all while amassing their own fan base. You can catch BASECAMP at U Street Music Hall on January 27. Get your tickets here.

9:30 Club is bringing some English post-punk to DC on February 1 with White Lies. White Lies has been exploring new sounds in their most recent album, “Friends,” by including more pop and even a little bit of disco influence into their new music. With music similar to The Killers, but with their own spin, this show is sure to get you moving and singing along to catchy lyrics. Get your tickets here.
