This upcoming Sunday, May 15, two races are taking place. Their success makes the future brighter for kids and strengthens bodies and minds. One of the events is in its 37th year, and one is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Both events need your help!

For 10 years, Girls on the Run has changed the lives of local girls in grades 3-8 by inspiring them to be healthier and more confident in their bodies and lives. This Sunday, the girls will be racing at Anacostia Park. GOTR still needs 20 Buddy Runners and you can sign up to volunteer through 5 pm today.
