Time to put the finishing touches on your wish list and go meet with Santa! He’ll be on the Hill this weekend for pictures and hot cocoa with the kiddos…and pups.

Santa will arrive at 8th and G St. SE at 1:00pm by firetruck (courtesy of Local Engine 18) to hear what’s on wish lists and for pictures. There will be a toy train, cider & hot chocolate by Bayou Bakery, elves, caroling, candy canes, and more. Photos are not just for kids – pets of all persuasions are invited, too! Remember to also bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots as well!

Also on Saturday, stop by Howl to the Chief between 10am-4pm to have your pup’s picture taken with Santa. The cost is $10 and all proceeds go to Rural Dog Rescue, winner of the Best Nonprofit category at the 2015 Hilly Awards.

And on Sunday, come to the Courtyard Marriott at 140 L Street SE between 4 and 8pm for a party with Santa, hosted by the Waterfront Church. Each family will receive a picture with Santa time when they arrive, and then can head upstairs to hang out with his friends, enjoy jumpers, activities, cookies, hot cocoa, and more. This is a free event, and each family will bring home two 5×7 photos of their picture with Santa.
