Here at The Hill is Home, sometimes we wish we were made out of money. Frankly, I think everyone’s wished that sometimes. We’ve been telling you all about the school auctions going on, and even if the sentiment may sound maudlin, we would love to help out all the schools (and, really, hit up all the parties too). Although we don’t seem to post many items from St. Coletta of Greater Washington, we love seeing the sweet building brightening up the space close to Stadium-Armory metro, and knowing that they help our so many students with special needs and their families.
St. Coletta is holding its auction this Saturday March 14, in the posh Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The theme of the auction is “Helping St. Coletta’s Garden Grow,” and you can buy tickets through this link. The evening includes cocktail reception, silent auction, seated dinner, live auction, live music and dancing and a performance by St. Coletta students.
WHEN: Saturday, March 14, 2015, 6:30-11:30 pm
WHERE: The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, 1330 Maryland Avenue SW.
WHY: It’s auction season, you guys. IT’S FOR THE ST. COLETTA KIDS!
HOW: Click here to buy tickets; get gussied up (it’s black tie optional!) and have a great time!
