Blow glass this Saturday!  DC Glassworks open houses feature food, drinks and glassblowing demonstrations.  Blow your own glass paperweight for a small fee. For details, click here.

Recent University of Alaska graduate Wesley Schaefer introduces “lower 48” audiences to the cultural phenomenon of dog-sleigh racing.  Comeback Chronicles documents the 2013 Iditarod, AK race billed as the “Last Great Race on Earth.” Schaefer’s photographic essay focuses on the bond between the racer and his sleigh dogs. Do you tweet art?  artdc gallery launched the #WeTweetArt campaign over the summer where a virtual exhibition emerged through a series of curated tweets.  In #WeTweetArt, the virtualized materializes as the tweeted artworks from various artists find a brick and mortar home in the gallery.  For details, click here.
