Do you have a kid who likes to play games?
Yes, I realize that if we have children in our lives, they may have wanted to drive us all crazy at some point in time; but do you happen to know a kid who absolutely LOVES board games, such as chess and mancala and backgammon, and all those good, fun games that test your mettle and teach you the virtues of patience, forethought and strategy? Then boy, do I have some good news for you!
Starting June 21st, Labyrinth Games & Puzzles, 645 Pennsylvania Ave, SE, is starting a game club for kids ages 7 and up called “Good Moves”, which promises to stimulate and challenge, as well as provide a fun game-learning (and WINNING) atmosphere. The club will go on from 4 to 6 pm and it will not only be a game exploration but will also tap into kids’ competitive side.
