Before we get to the mass of links (and I have a lot for you this week), I want to provide a group of links on a hot topic in the neighborhood. The developers of the Hine school project have released their latest designs and plans for the site and in anticipation of a lengthy discussion among the ANC6B commissioners on how to weigh in, a special meeting has been scheduled for March 15th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at St. Coletta School (located at 1901 Independence Avenue, SE). At the meeting, the developers will make a presentation on the current plans, and then the community and ANC commissioners will be able to ask questions and provide feedback. For some additional background, read: Greater Greater Washington, EMMCA, EMMCA, Kirsten Oldenburg’s blog, and our past coverage of the issue.
