Saturday December 11
The Capitol Hill Art League will host Wrap It Up-The Art of Giving on Saturday, December 11, 2010, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at CHAW (545 7th Street SE, Washington DC). The exhibit features ready to purchase inexpensive artwork that is gift-wrapped by CHAL members.
The Fridge (Rear Alley behind 516 8th Street SE, Washington, DC) will host a fundraiser for Albus Cavus from 6pm to 10pm. The event will feature live music and an art auction with work from renowned local street artists. All proceeds will benefit Albus Cavus’ classrooms including scholarships, supplies and space rental.
Sunday December 12
Park Café (106 13th ST SE, Washington DC) will host a small reception for Diana Derby, a local artist who won first place in CITY Gallery’s Regional Juried Show.
