The Eastern Market Metro Community Association (EMMCA) is hosting a meet and greet with the ANC6B candidates tonight in the North Hall of Eastern Market. Stop by between 6 and 8 pm to meet the candidates and ask them questions before election day.
When: Wednesday, October 20, 6 – 8 pm
Where: North Hall of Eastern Market (7th Street & NC Avenue).
Who: All Candidates are invited

ANC6B Commissioners came from far and wide to meet and greet the residents, as did most of the candidates. Too bad the four ANC6B commissioners who represent the area around Eastern Market all chose to stay away. Why are they afraid to talk to residents of the area they represent?
Which Commissioners skipped out? Disappointing that they would not be interested in speaking with their constituents.

ANC Commissioners unavoidably detained: David Garrison, Mary Wright, Norman Metzger, Kirsten Oldenburg, Kenan Jarboe, Carol Green. (Which one spent the evening down the block at Peregrine?)
It’s a shame when ANC 6B commissioners can’t bring themselves to come to Eastern Market North Hall to meet constituents who put on a meet-and-greet for them.
