Lots of fun coming your way this weekend. Pace yourself.

Tonight check out Not Enuf Lifetimes at the Atlas. It is the final weekend of this original work produced by the playwright’s collective The Welders and it is getting rave reviews.

Friday  dog & pony presents a night of interactive theatre at CHAW. All November the company will host choose your own adventure type workshops. This evening is a remount of a show the company performed in 2010 called COURAGE. Audience is allowed to engage as much or as little as they want. The event is free and begins at 7:30.

Union Market is going to be hopping with events  all weekend called 5th Street Folly. Friday and Saturday the Gilt City Warehouse Sale offers shoppers an opportunity to sip cocktails while browsing deeply discounted designer goods. Tickets are $10 and include snacks and cocktails. Tickets and more information can be found here. Get those tickets today because Friday is already sold out.

The pop-up shop Thread returns this weekend too. This year it will be held behind the market in the Maurice Electric Warehouse. Thread is open Friday 1pm-6pm, Saturday 10am -6pm, and Sunday 10am -5pm.

The foodies will also be on hand for Emporiyum, a high-end food festival featuring big name locals like Erik Bruner Yang of Toki Underground and Brian Voltaggio as well as treats from the soon-to-be-local Momofuku Milk Bar. The VIP tickets are gone but general admission tickets ($20) are still available. Get them here before they too are gone.

If you prefer to prepare treats for yourself, Saturday is the Barracks Row Culinary Education Crawl. You can learn how to shuck oysters, how to make kimchi or how to be a Belgian Gourmand. Tickets are still available for many classes. The full list is here.

Saturday night, lady arm wrestlers from around the country converge on the Atlas for SuperCLAW, a competition featuring some excellent costumes, awesome names and lots of grrrl power. CLAW (Collective of Lady Arm Wrestlers), began in nearby Charlottesville, VA, in 2008 and has spread around the world. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Proceeds from Saturday’s bout will benefit Miriam’s Kitchen.

Sunday watch a pre-Julie Andrews take on the character of Mary Poppins in a 1949 non-Disney version of the tale. The screening begins at 4pm and is free. Register here.
