Has your office become a ghost town? If you need a bit of a “diversion” but want to look very busy, take a gander at the nomination forms for the Express Best of 2010. Nominations for the 100 best places, people and things in our fair city are open now through August 13. Put your thinking cap on and speak up about your favorite spots and folks on the Hill.
The list includes all the predictable nominations: best bartender, brunch, happy hour, etc., but with categories like underrated tourist attraction, street musician, food truck, meal under $10 and best wine lists — this is the chance to acquaint Express readers with some of the hidden gems as well tout our ‘hood’s wildly-popular spots. Make sure to give a shout out to the gentlemen who hand out the Express at Eastern Market and Potomac Avenue metro; there’s a category for best Express distributor.
