It’s finally here, baseball season. Let’s go Nats!
There are few days in the calendar as special as today. Opening Day can turn grownups into giddy school children, and our somewhat stuffy federal city into a fun loving — and at times — boisterous crowd.
This year, Nationals fans are coming to the park with high hopes and expectations. We still remember the pain and agony of October. But, the beautiful thing about day one: today, win or lose, it’s hard not to sit back and smile at the game that is baseball.
If you’re one of the lucky few sneaking out of the office early, be sure to snap photos and post them to our Flickr group. And, don’t worry, your boss won’t know it’s you if you post them under an anonymous name.
