Then stop by Langston Bar and Grille (1831 Benning Road NE) from 6:30-9:30 to help raise money for scholarships for students from the Rosedale and Kingman Park neighborhood for the 2011-12 academic years. It’s a great chance to meet some neighbors while raising money for a great cause!
The event, hosted by the Rosedale Citizen’s Alliance and Greater DC Cares, is hoping to raise to raise $2,500 to award $300 – $500 for local students. If you’re unable to attend but would like to contribute, e-mail rcascholarshipfund [at] gmail [dot] com for the address on where to send tax-deductible gifts.
