On December 9, 2025, Rear Admiral Morton Egner Toole was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Known to his friends as Jim, but usually referred to only as “The Admiral” by those that frequented Capitol Hill Books, to which he retired after a long and distinguished service in the Navy. (RSP)
A large crowd converged on the Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer, to celebrate his life. Unsurprisingly, many were from his time in the Navy (RSP)
After a short service in the chapel, the remains were loaded onto the caisson for the short trip into the cemetery itself (RSP)
