The To Do List, Week of April 3, 2026

Happy Opening Day! One of my favorite things to do all year is to walk around Nationals Park and play Friend and Acquaintance Bingo: If there is one place where you’re bound to run into at least one person you know, it’s the baseball stadium. See you around there this season? (Disclaimer: I’m a season ticket holder but neither MLB nor the Nationals pay me to gush about baseball– I just like it.)

You should know that this coming Tuesday, April 7, is the season’s first Pups in the Park– you can get tickets here. There are more Animal Days, including my favorite, Caturday. This year’s special Caturday giveaway is a kitty t-shirt. Alas, unlike Pups at the Park, Caturday is not a bring-your-cat-to-the-park affair– just make sure you send in a picture of your kitty so you can see them on display!

Would you rather do something a little more continental? Then Radici’s event this afternoon from 5-7 pm should appeal to you. More info and tickets here.

Need help with your taxes or know someone who does? This free event in NoMa is for you.

Are you looking for a book club? Check out Solid State Books’ XOXO club, which meets the third Thursday of every month. Learn more here.

Our friends at Relume have a whole new, beautiful space for you to explore your creativity or learn about something new! Click here to look at their April offerings, and do something fun and creative this year. (Disclaimer: I teach a Tarot class at Relume most months.)

Don’t forget: Every Thursday, the Library of Congress stays open until 8 p.m. and invites everyone to their Live! At the Library of Congress events. Check out the full list here and make your plan. Don’t forget to RSVP!

OFF-HILL
