In the citywide race for Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton’s seat, Councilmember Brooke Pinto’s office recently released a 60+ page opposition research document that listed information about not just Robert White himself (which is part of the public record) but also photos and addresses of his family and home (originally shared by Tom Sherwood, also good synopsis at WUSA-9), a tone-deaf action at a time where there is heightened violence toward lawmakers at all levels. She has since apologized for the breach of privacy, but the document remains, albeit redacted, on her website (Axios).
