Hey friends! We’ve made it to Friday… somehow. I have some great ideas on how to have fun mostly at home in the To Do list, but here are a few more things that may have escaped your notice around the neighborhood:

Help raise funds for Everyone Home DC and have a blast joining all sorts of fun events through their September Challenge. You can check out all of the fun through this page here and you can create your own fundraiser by visiting here.

We are collecting your back to school photos with our hashtag #bts💛kfdcxthih through September 14. Adorable photo by @districttwinning, via Instagram

As is their tradition, Peregrine Espresso celebrates another turn about the sun with FREE COFFEE! On Wednesday, September 9, bring your best wishes for a happy 12th birthday to Peregrine –and an empty cup — to their flagship location on 7th, at Union Market, or at their pop-up inside The Pug on H Street NE. You can also buy bags of whole bean coffee for $2 off. Happy birthday, dear Peregrine! You make our lives jitterier but so much richer (and with a bold aroma).

Mozzeria is open TODAY! Yum yum yum! It looks gorgeous, btw. I might need a birthday slice. Eater DC
