One of the things that makes our neighborhood so great is the opportunities to integrate ourselves into enduring community traditions. If you’re a parent of toddlers, nursery schools are a great way of socializing your children and creating enduring friendships with fellow parents. River Park Nursery School, housed within the Lutheran Church of the Reformation at 212 East Capitol Street, is one of several in our area.
We start off #auctionseason with River Park Nursery School’s annual Sock Hop and Silent Auction, which takes place Saturday, Feb. 29, 4-7 p.m. in the parish hall at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation. This is a fun family event to raise funds for the school program. For over 50 years, River Park Nursery School has provided an exceptional environment in which children ages 3 to 5 can play and learn on the hill. You can expect food, drinks, a silent auction and a concert by child entertainer Mr. Skip. It’s a great event to support the school or to meet new families and make friends in a child-friendly environment.
