On October 19, from 2 to 5 p.m., Eastern Market Main Street (EMMS) will host the second annual Constitutional (n) event, a historic walking and beverage tasting tour. Featuring themed libations from local restaurants and drinkeries and a self-guided tour, guests will experience the past in a way designed
to satisfy curiosity and quench thirst. This year’s theme, Votes for Women, celebrates the centennial of the 19th Amendment and women in civic life.
Constitutional(n): Votes for Women offers two guest experiences:
General Admission, which includes five (5) tasting tickets, a commemorative cup, and walking/tasting map of Capitol Hill, and day-of
specials from participating businesses and
VIP, which includes all General Admission items PLUS five (5)
additional tasting tickets (ten total), opportunity to take a guided tour presented by A Tour Of Her Own, entrance to a themed, rooftop afterparty, and goody bag.
All proceeds from the event support EMMS’ work to foster a vibrant, neighborhood-serving corridor and support small businesses at the heart of Capitol Hill. Tickets can be purchased by visiting easternmarketmainstreet.eventbrite.com
Constitutional(n): Votes for Women is sponsored by Coldwell Banker, as well as by DIAGEO, First Savings Mortgage, The Residences at Eastern Market, Trader Joe’s, and Scallan Properties.
