Celebrate Earth Day With NASA at Union Station!

Happening right now at Union Station! Photo by Maria Helena Carey

Happy Earth Day everyone! I hope you got to get some seeds from DOEE and the Office of the Clean City on your way to work this morning! If you are able, swing by Union Station today by 5 p.m. or tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., so you can celebrate with some incredible SCIENCE FROM NASA. All manner of satellites, demos, models and augmented reality displays are on view both days. You can get a passport and work your way through measuring heights with ICESat’s Mini-Altimeter; you can attempt to understand binary code; you can make a volcano flipbook; and much, much more. Oh yeah, you can also take a selfie or a youfie (that’s a photo, for the uncool) with a very cool backdrop and awesome props. Don’t forget to tag them #pictureEarth!

If you go:
