Kids:

Reminder: Eastern High School’s Feeder Fest is THIS SATURDAY

Via Eastern Feeder Fest’s flyer

Hey parents! Are you thinking about high school already? Sure, your tyke is just taking his or her first steps, or you’ve just finally mastered day care, or your little cherub is an official Ms. Frances SugaWuga these days, but

S  O  O  N

you will be housing a surly tween or teen who will need high school and I can hear all your stomachs doing a collective flip. Eastern High School can hear it too, which is why you are all cordially invited to Eastern Feeder Fest, an opportunity to learn more about your neighborhood high school. On Saturday, January 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., visit Eastern High School, 1700 East Capitol Street NE to learn more about Eastern and all the wonderful things happening at “The Pride of Capitol Hill.” You can expect a lot of information, a live DJ and snacks. Personally, I’d rather hear the Eastern band play, but I’ll take the DJ.

The whole community is welcome to attend, but special emphasis is placed on having families from feeder schools visit. Not sure about DCPS school feeder pattern? Click here to find out more.
