Friday afternoons call for celebration. For some of us that takes the form of a boozy happy hour. Well, for those of us who are still hearing our kids belt out Pharrell’s “HAPPY!”, a fall festival is where it’s at. This Friday you can kick off the weekend celebrating from 3:15-7 p.m. at J.O. Wilson Elementary School.
Head over to 660 K Street Northeast and you and your small fry will find pumpkin decorating, face painting, fall treats and more. Is your porch pumpkin-less? You’re in luck — they’ll be on sale at the festival. All proceeds will go to support J.O. Wilson students.
