What’s in it for me? LOTS and you’ll help fight homelessness

If you’re honest with yourself, a night out on the town is pretty darn pricey. Did you know you could enjoy food and drink by Barracks Row, Navy Yard and H Street restaurants AND spend the same (or less!?!?) raising money for a local organization that serves homeless people right in our neighborhood? Make plans right now to attend the Capitol Hill Group Ministry’s (CHGM) Annual Sip & Savor this Saturday night, September 8, at Eastern Market, from 7̶-̶1̶0̶ 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Last year’s unlimited food and drink samples from 24 restaurants and drink purveyors drew more than 400 supporters.  Sponsorships are still available. Individual tickets range from $35-$70 until Thursday and can be purchased through this link. If there are tickets left after Thursday they will go up $10 at the door. There’s also a silent auction! Click here to browse through the amazing items and experiences that could be yours!

CHGM serves thousands of men, women, and children each year through Shirley’s Place Day Hospitality Center, Street Outreach to chronically homeless individuals, and Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs for families to chronically homeless individuals, and Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs for families.
