When I received this email, I could not believe it: It’s been TEN WHOLE YEARS since Peregrine Espresso spiffed up our morning routines and gave Tim Krepp a daily place where to hold court.
Back in 2008, they spiffed up the space left behind by that (as it turns out) aptly-named Murky Coffee. Out with the Americano dick-punching/coffee-shaming, in with the beloved staple: Peregrine Espresso brought in bright roasts, soothing green and the rebus at the Eastern Market location that still makes me smile: Pear + schwa + Grin!
As is their tradition, Peregrine will be giving us all a birthday present: On Wednesday, September 5, you can have complimentary drip and iced coffee on the birthday store! The hot blend served that day will be a Guatemalan; the iced blend will be Small Planes Coffee’s Arboretum. You can also get a $2 discount on selected blends and the first customers will get a tote bag!
