What’s better than hanging out with all your friends? Riding your bike to school with all your friends! This coming Wednesday, May 9, is Bike to School Day. Schools from all over Ward 6 will be meeting at Lincoln Park starting at 7:30 a.m. Mayor Bowser will be in attendance.
But don’t take our word for granted. Instead, listen to what the kids have to say about this event:
Elizabeth Godec, Eliot-Hine 7th grader: “It’s my most favorite day of the school year!”
Cason Krepp, 8th Grade @ Basis: “I have done bike to school day since I was a little girl, and I love it every year.”
Mary Linley Rawlings, Capitol Hill Day School, Kindergarten: “I like to ride in the bike lane with my Mama in front of me and Daddy behind me”.
