Have you signed up for the NCB Capitol Hill Classic? No? Get to it! You’ll be challenged by a great course through the neighborhood while supporting the Capitol Hill Cluster School and more than 1,100 students.

You can register right on up to Sunday morning, May 20. All proceeds go directly to the Cluster School.

If you want to know how to navigate Capitol Hill during the race, check out our race map here. Remember: All parked cars need to be removed from the race course by 5 a.m. Sunday.

If you have already signed up –and we hope you have– here’s what you need to know:

Packet Pickup

  • Peabody Primary School, 425 C St NE: Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday (Race Day) from 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. for the 10K only; a smaller PPU team will continue for 3K and fun run participants.
  • Pacers Running Navy Yard, 300 Tingey St SE: Friday from 10am to 8pm, and Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

You can have someone else pick your packet up for you: Just make sure they have your full name and DOB.

Race Day Start Times

The 10K will start at 8:30am, with the 3K following at the conclusion of the 10K–around 10:30am. The Fun Run will follow the 3K–around 11:00am.

Getting to the Race

Unfortunately, Metro now opens at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays — so don’t plan on Metro to get you to the 10K start! We’ve partnered with the terrific folks at Two Wheel Valet to bring a free bike valet to the race starting line.

Hope to see you Sunday morning!
