Even though JDLand has decided to take it easy and not post very often (noooooo!), she had an item yesterday on the distinct possibility that DDOT will move its offices to 250 M SE. Frozen Tropics has information on Tyshon Perry, the young man who was murdered near NoMa/Gallaudet Metro on Tuesday, May 1. Tyshon was a student at KIPP D.C. and was apparently trying to break up a fight when he was stabbed. She has links to memorials and reward information should you know anything about this case. My heart hurts just typing this.

There were reports on Sunday that a toddler was wounded by gunfire. The 2-year old was at a playground in the 1100 block of K Street SE and was injured but it was not related to gun violence. WJLA

Will the rent be too damn high if HQ2 comes to DC? I mean, obviously, DC. WAMU

The Mayor will award $2,648,057.53 to businesses around town. Does anyone else get the feeling that numbers without explanation are meaningless? How much does each business get? Afro
