It’s an election year and there are two challengers to Charles Allen’s Ward 6 council seat: Democrat Lisa Hunter and Republican Michael Bekesha. You have an opportunity to hear the incumbent and the challengers debate tonight, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the Hill Center, 901 Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The debate will start promptly at 7 and will last two hours.
The debate is sponsored by the Ward 6 Democrats and the Hill Rag; they welcome questions from the public, which you can submit via email at debate [at] hillrag.com. Make sure you write “Ward 6” in the subject line.
