Join the Capitol Hill Cluster School community this Friday, March 9, for the annual Cluster Party & Auction: An entertaining adults’ night out while celebrating the Cluster teachers and staff – and everything they do every day for students at Peabody Primary, Watkins Elementary and Stuart Hobson Middle schools. Proceeds from the auction are split between the three schools–that’s about 700 kids– and goes to everything from field trips, sports uniforms, and art supplies to FoodPrints and teacher professional development.
The silent auction includes items from local businesses as well as Cluster families, including gift certificates for dozens of restaurants, box seats for entertainment and sporting events, stays in vacation houses, passes to private film screenings, brewery tours, airfare, and cases of wine. You’ll have a chance to bid on special experiences unique to DC such as lunch in the US Capitol Members’ Dining Room with a Member of Congress, a tour at NPR, and a taping of ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption.”
