Brent Elementary is bringing back its tree sale on Friday, December 1 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Brent Elementary School playground (301 N. Carolina Ave. SE). As usual, delivery is also available. They are also offering “White Glove Service” this year, which means for an extra cost they will set up the tree in its stand for you. Save $5 on your Christmas Tree by pre-ordering.
Miner Elementary is also selling trees, wreaths, and garland Friday, December 1 from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, December 2nd from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. They will be set up in the North Parking Lot at 601 15th Street NE.
Boy Scout Troop 500 and Cub Scout Pack 230 are selling trees, wreaths, and tabletop trees at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation (212 East Capitol St. NE) December 1-3. Hours: Fri 4:30 – 8:30 p.m., Sat 9 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., & Sun 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Delivery is available. This is also a Winter Coat Donation drop off point. They dry-clean coats and provide them to a local organization that gives them to neighbors in need. Donations accepted to help pay for cleaning. Get more information on their Facebook Page.
DC Tree Delivery will be delivering premium, Virginia-grown Fraser Firs to homes and apartments in Washington, DC (Capitol Hill included!). Each tree comes with a tree stand, delivery, and setup included. For an extra fee they will even vacuum up the needles to help take the hassle out of the holiday.
Frager’s Garden Center is stocked with trees, wreaths and garland, lighting, poinsettias, amaryllis and paperwhites, and decor for Christmas and Chanukah.
Ginkgo Gardens also has trees of all sizes and other decorations at their location at 911 11th Street SE.
And, as always, there will be a large selection of frees available at Eastern Market through the entire Christmas season.
