If you love to shop for one-of-a-kind art, clothing and accessories from local artists in a well-curated space, you are in luck! Steadfast Supply is back to Navy Yard starting this week. They are now located at 300 Tingey Street SE, #140, just across the street from last year’s temporary digs. Steadfast Supply will be open starting Wednesday June 7 up until the last week of December. Their hours will be Tuesday through Sunday, 12-6 p.m.

You may remember the pop-up, generously hosted last year at the Arris building by Forrest City. Steadfast Supply anchored the building from October through December of last  year, taking over the northeast corner. The space didn’t just showcase some of the coolest makers and artists in the area: It also served as venue for all manner of events, including a Council event supporting the Made in DC initiative.

Virginia Arrisueño, the main tastemaker behind Steadfast and also the owner of De Nada Design, drew inspiration from Japanese storefronts in the fashionable Ginza district in Tokyo, as well as from her own minimalist aesthetic, in putting together what has now become Steadfast. She and a group of artists take the time to curate the contents of the space, offering many of the same beautiful pieces they did in the space last year and making sure every piece is a proper fit.

The main difference in this new iteration of the pop-up, aside from the change in address, is that the new space will lend itself more for special events, such as workshops or networking gatherings. These events will be found in their site calendar in the coming weeks. They have also broadened their scope: DC-based makers are still prominently featured, but there will also be goods makers from other areas of the country.

Are you a maker of beautiful and tasteful things? You can still apply to become a vendor at Steadfast Supply if you follow the link here. Steadfast Supply won’t have a large online presence, apart from their gorgeous Instagram and website. The store wants to actively cater to browsers and to bring back the more sensory and specifically tactile elements of the shopping experience.
