The annual DC Taste of the Nation, which benefits No Kid Hungry, is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19. The benefit is being held at Nationals Park for the first time this year!
The annual tasting event will showcase the city’s top chefs, sommeliers and mixologists teamed up for a cause: making sure all children in this country get the healthy food they need every day. One hundred percent of proceeds from the event benefit No Kid Hungry‘s efforts to end childhood hunger in America.
This year’s event will be hosted by Chef Chair George Pagonis, Dessert Chair Tiffany MacIsaac, Mixology Chair Derek Brown, and Sommelier Chair Nadine Brown. DC’s culinary tastemakers will provide guests with bite-size fare, craft cocktails, and sweets treats, driving taste buds out of the park. Guests can look out for:
- Bite-size fare from some of the District’s hottest restaurants including ANXO Cidery & Pintxos Bar, Clarity, RPM Italian, Succotash and Whaley’s
- Live music by Judah & the Lion on the mainstage overlooking the ballpark
- A District Dugout area featuring some of your favorite ballpark vendors such as Blue Smoke, Shake Shack, and On Rye; Get outside the beltway by visiting our “Baltimore Row” and “VA is for Food Lovers” sections
- On-site pop-up bar by national sponsor Glenlivet
- Casa Noble Margaritas from Union Market airstream Suburbia
