Heads-Up! Metro to Conduct Drill at Navy Yard Metro, 4/23

The most important assets of the green line. Map via Thrillist.

On Sunday April 23, starting at 8:30 a.m., the Metro Transit Police and District of Columbia emergency responders will carry out a full response drill. The drill will take place between Navy Yard and Anacostia stations. Although Navy Yard metro will remain open, the Half street entrance will be closed during the event, which is expected to be done by 2 p.m. that day. Metro asks that all riders use the New Jersey Avenue (at M Street) entrance instead.

Green line trains will be single-tracking between Navy Yard and Anacostia metro stations: they will start around 7 a.m. until the exercise is over. Metrobus service will run as usual.
